About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be working with pupils who require additional support due to their Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one, two-to-one, and group support to pupils with challenging behaviours
  • Liaise with teachers, educational psychologists, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils
  • Work in a supportive school environment located near Hilsea

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs or Mental Health
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date CV with two relevant references
  • DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one
