Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a leading manufacturer in the Gainsborough area.

**Salary:** £41,648.97 per annum, including shift allowance

**Shifts:** 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm, and 4pm-2am

**Benefits:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the site's electrical and mechanical services, equipment, and machinery. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and associated services to ensure they are in good electrical order
  • Quickly identifying and resolving electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and machinery
  • Installing and maintaining services in line with current regulations
  • Providing electrical/mechanical support in the event of breakdowns
  • Executing planned preventative maintenance and contributing to system improvements
  • Collaborating with various internal departments and external suppliers to support operations
  • Working within a 5S methodology
  • Recording work done in the Maintenance Management System (SAP) with detailed technical feedback

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-disciplined individual with a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Electrical qualifications
  • Fault finding experience on various electrical control systems
  • Installation experience
  • Fault finding and repair experience on mechanical plant
  • Fabrication/welding/machining/fitting experience
  • Experience with PPM systems
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles
