Job Summary

Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd. is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of wind turbines, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of components.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Lead a team of technicians and ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Provide safe access and egress to all personnel in the work party.
Requirements
  • Relevant formal qualifications, such as SVQ/NVQ level 3 in electrical, mechanical, or related fields.
  • Comprehensive experience in a relevant industry, such as wind farms, power stations, or industrial process plants.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
