Job Description

Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join their team. As a Travelling Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for the routine preventative maintenance of wind turbines, mechanical, electrical, gearbox, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, gearbox, and hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out unscheduled maintenance and retrofits, as well as emergency breakdowns and major component exchanges.
  • Work closely with all departments in the UK and other group companies to ensure a high level of service is provided.
  • Travel to various locations to perform maintenance tasks, including working with colleagues in Germany and other DWT group countries.
Requirements:
  • Relevant formal qualifications, such as SVQ/NVQ level 3 in electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive experience in a relevant industry, such as wind farms, power stations, or industrial process plant.
  • Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid health and safety certificates.
  • IT proficiency on MS Suite.
