About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Planning and Scheduling to join our team at East West Rail. As a key member of our Programme and Project Community, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating all project planning support across EWR and deploying sufficient resources to meet our planning and scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrated schedules from first principles.
  • Deploy and manage planning and scheduling resources throughout the business.
  • Maintain relevant processes and procedures for project planning and scheduling.
  • Analyze and scenario plan to evaluate alternative scopes and timelines for the programme.
  • Ensure the adequacy of construction planning capabilities in the team.
  • Foster an innovative mindset by proactively seeking and implementing creative solutions to challenges.
Requirements
  • Experience of planning for a major project(s).
  • Extensive experience of schedule management on major capital projects and/or large programmes of similar complexity.
  • Expert knowledge of control tools and methodologies such as Primavera P6, critical-path analysis, earned value analysis, and Monte Carlo analysis.
  • Knowledge of contemporary planning techniques such as CPA/time chainage etc.
  • Basic knowledge of integrating the plan within a 4D BIM environment.
