Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on town planning matters to the wider team and stakeholders, ensuring that our projects are delivered in a way that meets the needs of all parties involved.
- Manage the provision of town planning advice by third-party suppliers, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead on the development of planning strategies and policies, ensuring that they are aligned with our business objectives and meet the needs of our stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our projects are delivered in a way that meets the needs of all parties involved.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local planning authorities and other stakeholders, ensuring that our projects are delivered in a way that meets the needs of all parties involved.
- Provide input to decision-making processes relating to route option and alignment recommendations, ensuring that our projects are delivered in a way that meets the needs of all parties involved.
- Prepare and present reports, often of a complex nature, on planning matters to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead on the discharge of EWR Co's functions relating to planning matters under the Development Consent Order, including through discharge of requirements, planning obligations or otherwise.
- Monitor and respond to third-party planning applications that may affect delivery of the project.
- Manage ongoing liaison with key external stakeholders.
- Support with emerging business needs, including design panel reviews, local engagement panels, and public engagement activities.
- Manage third-party suppliers and their project teams, where appropriate, including applicable budgets and deliverables, and monitor and prepare reports, ensuring the production of EWR Co deliverables.
- Take responsibility for your own and others' health and safety by adopting and working to the EWR Co Health and Safety principles.
- Co-operate with EWR Co in all matters relating to health and safety, always including following safe working procedures.
