Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in project management, organisation, and time management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project delivery, ensuring effective day-to-day management of the Project Management team, and driving project execution, team coordination, cost control, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of Project Managers and Project Support to deliver exceptional results.
Recruit, train, and manage team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
Ensure adherence to project processes and timelines, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Coach and train the team for timely and professional delivery of quotations and specifications.
Support Project Managers in working with design, production, and installation departments to deliver high-quality projects.
Formulate training plans for improved operational output and implement them effectively.
Oversee costings, quotations, and project progress, and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct employee appraisals and implement corrective actions if needed.
Improve Project Management efficiency and consistency, and enhance procedures, systems, and principles for better project management.
Collaborate with other departments for effective information flow and service delivery.
Address customer issues and improve customer experience.
Monitor project data accuracy and timeliness, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
Expertise in project management, organisation, time management, and problem-solving.
Background in business skills, resource management, budgeting, and analysis.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Proven experience in project management and leading teams, with a track record of delivering results.
Organisational management skills, with the ability to set clear directions and priorities.
Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Advanced planning skills for all project stages, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to use tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to understand numbers and prices quickly, with a strong attention to detail.
Experience in the Interior Design industry is advantageous, but not essential.
