Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing project delivery to meet client expectations through effective day-to-day management of the Project Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of Project Managers and Project Support to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Recruit, train, and manage team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Ensure adherence to project processes and timelines, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Coach and train the team for timely and professional delivery of quotations and specifications.
Support Project Managers in working with design, production, and installation departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Formulate training plans for improved operational output and oversee costings, quotations, and project progress.
Conduct employee appraisals and implement corrective actions if needed to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
Improve Project Management efficiency and consistency, and collaborate with other departments for effective information flow and service delivery.
Address customer issues and improve customer experience through proactive communication and issue resolution.
Monitor project data accuracy and timeliness, and enhance procedures, systems, and principles for better project management.
Manage and evolve the Project Support team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to support the Project Management team.
General office management to ensure the smooth operation of the team.
Requirements
Expertise in project management, organisation, time management, and problem-solving.
Background in business skills, resource management, budgeting, and analysis.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Proven experience in project management and leading teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Organisational management skills with the ability to set clear directions and priorities.
Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Advanced planning skills for all project stages, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to use software to manage projects and communicate with team members.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
Ability to understand numbers and prices quickly, with the ability to make informed decisions about project costs and budgets.
Experience in the Interior Design industry is advantageous, but not essential.
Practical solutions and common sense approach, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
