Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEND.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the holistic well-being of students.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to the ongoing assessment and review process.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, carers, and external agencies as necessary to support student progress.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is required.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEND strategies, interventions, and best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
