SEND Teacher for ASD Class
We are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join a well-established all-through SEND school. The role involves working with a class of 8 students aged 10-12, all with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioral challenges. The students have diverse needs, and the ideal candidate will have a creative and dynamic approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a supportive and motivating environment for students with diverse needs.
  • Design and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans in line with each student's EHCP.
  • Manage challenging behaviors with positivity and energy, using effective strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • Previous experience working with children with ASD and behavioral difficulties.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to supporting SEND learners.
