Complex Needs Teaching Assistant Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students who require additional assistance due to complex physical, emotional, or behavioural needs.
  • Develop and implement individualised support strategies in collaboration with teachers and educational staff.
  • Assist students in managing their emotions, behaviours, and physical challenges, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging students to participate in classroom activities and develop essential life skills.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching approaches to meet the changing needs of each child.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, ideally in an educational or care setting.
