Care Worker
Job Role: Care Worker
Working Hours: 33.75 hours, 08:30 – 16:00
Protocol Education is working with an 'Outstanding' school in Barking & Dagenham to find a Care Worker to support students with learning difficulties.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, driven and passionate individual who can provide support to the class teacher and maintain a supportive educational environment.
The successful applicant will:
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A calm and consistent approach
- Actively promote safeguarding and equality
- Be able to work within a team and use their own initiative to manage work-related tasks
- Be able to liaise with parents and other professionals and maintain a professional relationship at all times
- Be able to follow guidelines for care needs such as hoisting, manual handling and administering medications
- Prior experience working with ASC, PMLD and MLD is preferred but not essential
- Experience working in care, elderly care and nursing will also be considered
