Care Worker Role

We are seeking a Care Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to students with learning difficulties in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with learning difficulties in a variety of settings
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A calm and consistent approach
  • Ability to work within a team and use own initiative to time manage work-related tasks
  • Ability to liaise with parents and other professionals and maintain a professional relationship at all times
  • Ability to follow guidelines for care needs such as hoisting, manual handling, and administering medications
