About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Trades Training Specialist to join our team at HMP Norwich. The successful candidate will have experience in construction trades and be able to deliver quality training and employability support to learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum Development: Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans addressing group training needs.
  2. Learner Support: Provide individualized support to learners to ensure they achieve their employment goals.
  3. Policy Adherence: Adhere to Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, and Data Protection policies.
  4. Performance Management: Meet contractual KPIs for success and performance.
  5. Training Delivery: Deliver high-quality training sessions to groups of learners.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Teaching Qualification: Level 3 Teaching qualification (e.g., AET / PTLLS/ CertEd).
  2. Assessing Qualification: L3 Assessing qualification or equivalent (desirable).
  3. Health and Safety: Health and Safety qualification at L3 or above.
  4. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in construction trades.
  5. Certifications: Successful applicants must undergo DBS or DS check and provide proof of Right to Work in the UK.
Salary Range:

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
