Training Specialist Job Description

At Norse Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position for 12 months.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with previous experience of delivering training, who can work with adults in the care sector. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to translate training needs into meaningful objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging training content, working closely with our Learning & Development Designer to ensure high-quality outcomes. They will also support the assessment of learners and contribute to the development of effective training solutions to meet business needs.

This role requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to adapt training materials to meet the needs of diverse audiences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering training programs that meet business objectives
  • Developing and maintaining training materials to the highest standards
  • Supporting the assessment of learners and providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective solutions
Requirements
  • Previous experience of delivering training to adults in the care sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate training needs into meaningful objectives
  • Certification in teaching and learning (City & Guilds Level 3 or 4) or equivalent
  • Full UK driving license
