Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinician to join our leadership team at Medway CMHT. As a senior mental health clinician, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our mental health services and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Main Duties
  • Act as a senior decision-maker for patients referred to the Mental Health Together Service, ensuring the most appropriate onward pathways are identified and prompt assessment and interventions offered.
  • Provide supervisory support to practitioners in decision-making for complex and high-risk referrals.
  • Offer expert advice and support to all professionals referring into the Mental Health Together service and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external partner agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with the Mental Health Together Team Manager to ensure the highest standards of practice and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the transformation of community mental health services in line with the Trust's strategic objectives.
  • Support decision-making at all stages of a person's journey through Mental Health Together and deputise for the Team Manager in their absence.
