About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Plant Delivery Driver's Mate to join our team based in Stevenage. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery driver to collect and deliver equipment to our Group Companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and checking items onto the van in accordance with delivery notes, ensuring the load is complete, safe, and secure for the journey.
  • Covering when the driver is on annual leave or off sick, checking the vehicle daily and reporting any defects to your line manager.
  • Assisting in the warehouse when no deliveries are scheduled, working under instruction from the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Confident and professional attitude towards work.
  • Proactive approach to multitasking and meeting deadlines.
  • Good eye for detail and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Full driving license.
