About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plant Delivery Driver's Mate to join our team at Gratte Brothers Group based in Stevenage. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment delivery service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery driver in collecting and delivering equipment to our Group Companies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Load and check items onto the van in accordance with delivery notes, ensuring the load is complete, safe, and secure for the journey.
  • Assist in the warehouse when no deliveries are scheduled, working under the instruction of the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to your line manager.

Requirements:

  • A full driving license is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude towards work, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
