About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Plant Fitter Technician to join our expanding Transport Operations team based in the UK.
About the team
With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services.
Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.
About the role
We're looking for candidates who are self-motivated, flexible, effective communicators who pride themselves in working to high-standards to provide high-levels of customer service.
You will hold a recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in engineering either working with LCV's, HGV's or Plant equipment are preferred.
Ideally you will be experienced in LCV, Construction plant, material handling or ancillary equipment. You will be conversant with a range of disciplines along with strong diagnostic and electrical systems capabilities.

About the job
- Faults diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete work via a PDA device to ensure daily electronic work records are up to date
- Undertake minor and major repair works as directed
- Communicate with the workshop team
- Ensure that all M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions `Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality`(SHEQ) policies and procedures are adhered to.
Requirements
- Fully qualified plant technician to a minimum of NVQ2 or equivalent through a recognised training scheme
- Experience of working on plant
- Competent use of company IT and diagnostic tooling
- Driving Licence - essential
- General plant electrics knowledge is desirable
