About The Role



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Fitter to join our Transport Operations team based in Stevenage.



The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults, completing work via a PDA device, and ensuring that all M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions safety policies and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements




  • Fully qualified plant technician to a minimum of NVQ2 or equivalent through a recognised training scheme
  • Experience of working on plant
  • Competent use of company IT and diagnostic tooling
  • Driving Licence - essential
  • General plant electrics knowledge is desirable

As the Plant Fitter, you'll get the opportunity to:




  • Faults diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete work via a PDA device to ensure daily electronic work records are up to date
  • Undertake minor and major repair works as directed
  • Communicate with the workshop team
  • Ensure that all M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions 'Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality' (SHEQ) policies and procedures are adhered to.


What you'll bring?
