About the Role

City Cruises UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pier Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the retail sales and customer service delivery at our pier locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retail Revenue Management: Ensure that retail sales revenue at the pier meets or exceeds budget targets.
  • Customer Service Delivery: Manage and deliver customer service to agreed standards at pier locations.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of the pier location, including staff management, retail systems, and operational matters.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Participate in regular communication with the Head of Piers and other managers to resolve issues and improve operations.
  • Staff Development: Develop and train staff within your direct team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and report on key performance indicators, including retail sales revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in Team Management: Proven experience in managing a team and rotas.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with experience working with crowd control.
  • Sales and Hospitality Experience: Experience in sales and hospitality, with a strong understanding of the Travel and Tourism industry.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong business partnerships.
