The Role OverviewIn this pivotal role, you will source top-tier talent for Freight Forwarding and Logistics roles across the US and Canada. You will work closely with experienced Directors based out of Bradley Stoke to ensure that we connect the best candidates with leading employers in these dynamic markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for recruitment, strong interpersonal skills, and a drive to succeed in a specialist, fast-paced industry.
You will also have the opportunity to travel to the US and visit clients.
Your Key Responsibilities- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels (job boards, LinkedIn, internal databases) to identify and engage with top talent in Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
- Interviews and Screening: Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability and align them with client needs.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, market movements, and key players in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics sectors.
- Candidate Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our CRM system.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Directors to understand client requirements, craft tailored candidate strategies, and achieve placement goals.
- Client Support: Occasionally liaise with clients to schedule interviews and gather feedback on candidates.
- Experience: Some recruitment, resourcing, or logistics background is preferred but not essential.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and attention to detail.
- Personality: A team player who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment – and loves dogs.
- Flexibility: Willing to work 11 AM–8 PM to align with US/Canadian time zones.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM systems, or other sourcing tools is an advantage.
$60,000 - $80,000 per year
