Job Overview
A dynamic and growing domiciliary healthcare organisation is seeking a skilled Financial Apprentice to join their team. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities within the organisation.

About the Role
This exciting opportunity involves assisting the Finance Manager in the day-to-day running of the accounts department. You will prepare and issue weekly private invoices for timely billing and revenue recognition, manage and process local authority invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance, update the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracker with weekly income data, maintain and monitor the Xero accounting software, and assist in preparing payroll, ensuring accurate calculations of employee hours and deductions.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue weekly private invoices for timely billing and revenue recognition.
- Manage and process local authority invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Update the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracker with weekly income data.
- Maintain and monitor the Xero accounting software, ensuring accurate transaction recording.
- Assist in preparing payroll, ensuring accurate calculations of employee hours and deductions.

Training and Development
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. The course covers record and analysis of financial data using standard tools and processes, application of double entry bookkeeping and accounting standards to process financial documents, assistance with the production of accurate financial information for account preparation, reconciliation of financial data, including preparation and review of reconciliations, communication of financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders, utilisation of digital skills to present key financial information using software and applications, and use of software packages to assist with basic accounting tasks, ensuring data security.

Benefits and Salary
