You will learn from our talented colleagues, gain a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification, take part in bespoke training linked to your apprenticeship role, join our apprentice cohort events, get the opportunity to train as a STEM ambassador and use your digital skills to help us attract other young people using our social media platforms. You will study a Level 4 Site Supervisor qualification which will take around 24 months to complete including the end point assessment (EPA) and you will work with our specialist training provider on this. You will work 40 hours per week onsite .
Our Apprentice Site Managers will also learn how to monitor quality and performance to make sure standards of health and safety, productivity and quality are high.
Learning about risk and opportunity and its effect both before and during construction and how to maintain the project risk and opportunity management plan. Learn how to allocate project resources, scheduling the availability of internal and external resources. Help to identify the best options and solutions for the projects.
Understand how to assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects where needed.
Develop the ability to lead and manage stakeholders and subcontractors to make sure everyone is meeting the required standards and the programme is progressing.
Develop commercial and finance skills to take part in monthly cost reconciliation meetings and to be able to review the final account before submission to client.
Be trained to carry out quality and statutory checks in line with contract specifications and contract statement of requirements and monitor construction performance undertaking regular threats and issues reviews.
We are committed to giving all our apprentices a minimum of six hours per week to dedicate to your studies and time to attend training with your apprenticeship provider.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 4 or above including English and Maths or equivalent.
Level 3 qualifications worth 64 UCAS points or above such as A Levels or Btec.
Due to health and safety considerations, you will need to be 18 years old or above to apply for this apprenticeship.
Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence would be highly recommended. This apprenticeship would particularly suit someone who has good digital skills and can use Microsoft office.
