Civil Engineering Opportunity

Linsco Ltd is looking for an ambitious individual with great communication skills and a flexible approach to work as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on large scale civils and infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Senior QS working with the NEC form of contract and strong numeracy and IT skills to handle the financial and mathematical demands of the role.

  • Experience working on civil engineering schemes, including Highways, Structures, River works and Flood Protection, as a main contractor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Project finance management: Prepare estimates for projects and monitor contract costs against budgets.
  • Contract administration: Procure sub-contractors, certify interim and final payments, and agree main contract variations.
  • Dispute resolution: Assist in resolving disputes through adjudications and arbitrations.
