Maintenance Engineering Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our building, mechanical equipment, and utility systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise routine servicing schedules across the business.
- Check and calibrate conveyor systems, including sensor alignment, automatic weighing machines, and barcode readers.
- Perform preventive maintenance on building and mechanical equipment, including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and greasing bearings.
- Fit replacement electric motors and control units on conveyor systems.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues.
- Fix faults or coordinate arrangements for replacements as needed.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists, and maintain records of scheduled procedures.
- Manage your workload to ensure timely closure of all tasks.
- Maintain and repair all building structures.
- Communicate progress on equipment breakdowns to production managers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in performing routine checks and diagnosing machinery faults.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
