Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Associate Hepatologist to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The successful candidate will be part of the reconfiguration of Gastroenterology & Hepatology services, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.

As a Clinical Associate Hepatologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those requiring out-of-hours emergency endoscopy and weekend cover for Gastroenterology and Hepatology patients. You will also participate in a rota for in-patient care during weekdays.

Main Duties of the Job

The main duties of the job include:

  • Providing high-quality care to patients with liver and gastrointestinal diseases
  • Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide emergency endoscopy and weekend cover for Gastroenterology and Hepatology patients
  • Participating in a rota for in-patient care during weekdays
