About the Opportunity

Join us as a Production Operative and take advantage of this exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our innovative prepared vegetable ranges. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory in Lincoln.

You will be responsible for leading the training and development of new team members, while maintaining compliance with all specifications, policies, and procedures. This is an excellent chance to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of your line, including problem-solving and improvement initiatives
  • Ensure personal compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain accurate records in a timely manner
  • Adhere to a 'clean as you go' policy for your line
  • Guarantee that prepped and packed products meet customer specifications
  • Drive operational performance in your line, focusing on productivity and quality KPIs
  • Be willing to work up to 12-hour day shifts
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • No prior production or grading experience is required
  • Show reliability and punctuality

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00, with 37.5 hours paid per week.
