About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Examiner to join our team in marking GCSE Computer Science papers. As an Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.

Responsibilities
  • Mark GCSE Computer Science papers in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme.
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
  • Complete all administration tasks as specified.
Requirements
  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, relevant to the qualification and subject.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualification as a teacher.
  • Experience in Python programming.
Competencies
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
