At Pearson, we are seeking a highly skilled Computer Science Examiner to join our team of subject experts. As a GCSE Computer Science Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

The marking process will be conducted online, allowing you to work from home. However, a few subjects may still require traditional marking methods using paper scripts sent through the post.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high level of subject knowledge and experience with Python Computer Language. You will also be required to submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times and ensure that milestones for marking are adhered to.

We are looking for individuals who have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, a degree or equivalent, and are qualified teachers. Additionally, you will need to have experience in Python and possess the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and have a high level of subject knowledge.

The marking period is between May and July, and the training required to mark as an examiner will take place between May and June. If you are passionate about education and have the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
