About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Key Stage 2 team as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Class Teacher in the day-to-day running of the classroom, including supporting children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Throughout the Apprenticeship, you will be supported to develop your knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors, culminating in a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Class Teacher in the day-to-day running of the classroom
* Assist with the development and implementation of lesson plans
* Provide individual and small group support to children
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

* A passion for education and supporting children
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well within a team and remain calm in challenging situations
* Commitment to keeping all children safe and being a positive role model
* GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English and maths (or equivalent L2 qualifications)
