Job Details

Job Role
We are seeking a General Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in our school. The successful candidate will work with teachers to provide individualized support to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students as needed.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, helping to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Work with small groups of students, providing additional support and guidance as needed.
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and other staff members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed.

Working Conditions
  • Term-time only, 11.5 hours per week.
  • Permanent post, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
