About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Tockwith Church of England Primary Academy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Work with students individually and in groups, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic goals
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and reduce disruptions
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting the well-being and inclusion of all students
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning and development of students. The ideal candidate will have:
