Job Details

Job Role
We are seeking a skilled General Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in our school. The successful candidate will work with teachers to provide individualized support to students, and may be responsible for leading small group learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning by working with individual students or small groups under the direction of teaching staff.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, and implement learning activities as directed.
  • Provide feedback and encouragement to students to promote their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to identify and address student needs, and develop strategies to support student learning.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Working Conditions
  • Term-time only, 16.25 hours per week.
  • Fixed-term contract until 31 August 2025.
  • Working hours: 12.00 noon - 3.15pm, 5 days a week.
