AEM Ltd is a leading independent overhaul and repair facility with a reputation for providing a broad range of services to international and regional airlines, helicopter operators, and airframe manufacturers. As an Aerospace Non Destructive Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting Non Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on aircraft components using Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) techniques.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in NDT and a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all inspections are conducted in accordance with EASA, FAA, and company procedures, and that all quality standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly control checks
- Helping to monitor and maintain stock levels of consumables
- Maintaining the function of plant and equipment
- Maintaining the 5S standard required
- Assisting with certain elements of machine maintenance (preventative and scheduled)
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with EASA, FAA, and company procedures
- Complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
- Numerate and literate GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
- Industry recognised EN4179 Non Destructive Testing Magnetic Particle Qualification
- Industry recognised EN4179 Non Destructive Testing Dye Penetrant Qualification
Experience:
- Proven experience within a Non Destructive Testing environment
- Proven experience in reading and interpreting manufacturers overhaul and repair manuals
