Aerospace Maintenance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Aviation Recruitment Network Limited as a skilled Aerospace Maintenance Specialist. The role involves carrying out site repairs and modifications on both mechanical and electrical equipment. We are looking for a highly experienced candidate with excellent analytical, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
The successful Aerospace Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing tasks such as mechanical fault finding on pumps, gearboxes, lathes, grinding machines, boring machines, machine strip downs and rebuilds, planned and preventive maintenance, mechanical installation including pipe fitting and machine moves, electrical fault finding on both single and three phase systems, electrical installation work including panel building, programming temperature PID controllers, perform safe isolation and lockout of equipment, and create risk assessment/method statements before commencing work activities.
This role requires the ability to work flexibly, providing out-of-hours support on critical maintenance, breakdowns, and projects as and when required. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience working within a mechanical or electrical maintenance engineering environment, experience in performing repairs on CNC machines, NDT machines, electro-plating machines, or paint spraying machines, knowledge of electrical systems both single and three-phase, mechanical experience in maintaining plant equipment, experience undertaking general fabrication work (mechanical and electrical), able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical technical drawings, proven ability to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems, excellent analytical, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills, well-versed in relevant software (e.g., CAD, MS Office, MS Project), strong organization and planning skills, and excellent communication skills.
The estimated salary for this role is between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
