Teach Mathematics to Secondary School Students

We are seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher for a long-term position at a mixed non-selective 11-18 Foundation School in Ramsgate, Kent. The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach well-structured differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's curriculum policy.
  • Set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
  • Have regard for the need to safeguard students' well-being following statutory provisions.
  • Deploy support staff effectively.
  • Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 12 months of experience).
  • Excellent subject knowledge.
  • Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management.
  • Good communication skills.

Estimated Salary: £130-£220 per day.
