About Us

M & G Countryside Developments is a company focused on delivering high-quality countryside and land management services. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Countryside Management Specialist.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will have supervisors/foreman experience in forestry or countryside management, with a strong background in forestry/countryside/land management training or qualifications.

The ideal candidate will possess further vocational and technical training around vegetation management, tractors, and machines, along with certifications for ground chainsaw operation and emergency first aid at work. Training is available on the job for the latter requirement.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in forestry or countryside management
  • Forestry/Countryside/land management training or qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £32,000-£40,000 per annum + benefits, depending on experience. The position requires starting as soon as possible, and we are looking for the right candidate who can contribute to our company's growth and success.

Work Schedule

The working day starts and finishes at the yard near Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, generally Monday-Friday between 7:00am-5:00pm. Weekend work may be required occasionally, especially during summer months, with overtime pay and/or time off in lieu.
