About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at CHEC, a leading provider of ophthalmology and gastroenterology care. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the entire patient pathways, from pre-admission to post-operative management.
- Undertake preoperative assessment, diagnostic testing, and theatre scrub under AfPP good practice guidance.
- Focus on patient-centred care and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge in area of practice and participate in departmental audits.
- Assist surgeons in the delivery of ophthalmic care and admission and discharge of patients.
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients, friends, and families.
