Job Summary:

TSG UK Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of key equipment across our customers' depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform daily diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission new equipment, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to our customers' operations.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance customer relationships through effective communication, issue resolution, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Service Reporting: Produce timely and accurate service reports, detailing work completed, issues encountered, and recommendations for future improvements.
  • SLA Compliance: Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times, adhering to our strict health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering HNC/HND (equivalent) and/or relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical awareness, confident in the use of hand tools, and proficient in PC hardware, networking, and IT troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact confidently and professionally with end customers, flexible approach, and good communication skills.
