Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at Sovos. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for building market demand for our solutions and services by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with potential customers to identify sales opportunities and build relationships
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets
- Qualify inbound leads and provide opportunities for the sales team to progress
- Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and execute territory plans
- Identify and recommend improvements to business development strategies and processes
- Manage multiple priorities concurrently and actively manage tasks to ensure effective pipeline development
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Quota experience preferred; demonstrated ability to exceed quotas
- General understanding of business, financial systems, and organizational decision-making
- Ability to work with mid/executive level contacts at clients
- Self-motivated, quick learner with effective internal and external communication skills
- Proficiency with contact management solutions and Microsoft Office suite of tools
