Business Development Representative

The Role
This Business Development Representative position at Sovos is a key role in building market demand for our solutions and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging sales meetings with potential business prospects, leveraging networking, sales prospecting, and marketing campaigns to identify and educate businesses on Sovos' offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with Sovos' prospect customers to identify sales opportunities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets
- Effectively qualify inbound leads to provide opportunities for the sales team to progress
- Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and execute territory plans
- Creatively identify and recommend improvements to business development strategies, processes, and tools
- Manage multiple priorities concurrently and actively manage tasks to ensure effective pipeline development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong team player with a general understanding of business, financial systems, and organizational decision-making
- Quota experience preferred; demonstrated ability to exceed quotas
- Effective internal and external communication skills, including presentation skills
- Ability to work with mid-executive level contacts at clients
- Self-motivated, quick learner with a desire to learn and improve
