About the Role

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Team Leader to join our team at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritizing daily activities, developing work plans, and allocating work to team members. They will also contribute to recruitment and retention efforts, assess the work of team members, and participate in the ongoing audit cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize daily activities to respond to changing circumstances and provide a seamless service to users.
  • Develop work plans and allocate work to team members, consistent with departmental objectives.
  • Contribute to recruitment and retention efforts using agreed methods and protocols.
  • Assess the work of team members and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Participate in the ongoing audit cycle to identify issues and implement measures to combat them.

About Us

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital services from two acute sites, including Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield, and Weardale.
