Job Title: Criminal Justice Advocate
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic individual to join our Liaison and Diversion Team as a Criminal Justice Advocate. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and guidance to individuals in need, helping them navigate relevant services and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients in community venues to provide emotional support and practical guidance.
- Work closely with local colleges to facilitate a Level 2 apprenticeship in Adult Care.
- Promote the benefits of peer support and mental health services within the community.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have personal lived experience of mental health issues or be a carer who has supported someone to access mental health services. A basic understanding of IT and the ability to undertake independent travel across the area are also essential.
