Recruitment Researcher

VWA, a boutique recruitment consultancy, seeks a Recruitment Researcher to join its team in London.

We partner with firms internationally to support hiring needs across various industries.

This role offers multiple areas of progression and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a commercial and people-focused environment.

About the Role:
  • The Recruitment Researcher will provide research services to the wider business, supporting administration, marketing activities, and other projects as needed.
  • Conduct end-to-end candidate search and selection campaigns using various platforms and directly contact candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Resourcing and headhunting candidates for various roles and establishing a growing candidate pipeline.
  • Interviewing, analyzing, and documenting active and passive candidates.
  • Creating job adverts using multiple platforms.
  • Market research into sectors and roles.
  • Compiling candidate shortlists with tight deadlines.
  • Sending reference requests and formatting CVs to house standard.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager with social media management and blogs.
  • Representing VWA at networking and other events, which may fall outside of office hours.
About You:
  • Prior experience in a research role, ideally from an executive search or recruitment environment.
  • Degree education (or equivalent).
  • Experience in professional networking and relationship management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using other IT programs or databases.
  • Strong attention to detail, efficient work approach, and warm, approachable manner.
  • Natural rapport-builder with a team-working and commercial mindset.
Additional Details:
  • Core hours: 9am - 5pm, with flexibility to work beyond these hours if required.
  • The company operates a hybrid working structure (3 days office-based), but the successful candidate will be fully office-based during onboarding.
  • The estimated annual salary for this position is up to £45K, depending on relevant experience, plus potential commission scheme and discretionary bonus participation.
  • Benefits include private medical insurance, pension, and 25 days' holiday increasing by 1 day with each additional year worked up to a maximum of 28 days.
