We are seeking a talented Research Principal to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research services to our business, supporting administration, marketing activities, and other projects as needed.

About Your Responsibilities

  • You will conduct end-to-end candidate search and selection campaigns using various platforms and contact candidates directly.
  • You will perform market research into sectors and roles, identifying potential candidates for specific searches.

Your Key Tasks

  • Resourcing and headhunting candidates for various roles, creating a growing candidate pipeline.
  • Interviewing, analyzing, and documenting active and passive candidates.
  • Creating job adverts using multiple platforms.
  • Market research into sectors and roles.
  • Compiling candidate shortlists with tight deadlines.
  • Submitting candidate onboarding documents and uploading them to our database.
  • Sending reference requests and formatting CVs to our house standard.
  • Supporting our Marketing Manager with social media management and blogs.
  • Representing VWA at networking events, some of which may fall outside office hours.

About You

  • You have prior experience in a research role, ideally from an executive search or recruitment environment.
  • You hold a degree-level education or equivalent.
  • You have experience in professional networking and relationship management.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with other IT programs or databases.
  • You possess strong attention to detail, an efficient work approach, and a warm, approachable manner.
  • You are a natural rapport-builder with a team-working and commercial mindset.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary up to £45,000, depending on relevant experience.
  • Participation in a commission scheme and discretionary bonus.
  • Private medical cover once probation is passed.
  • Pension.
  • 25 days' holiday increasing by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days.
