About the Role

As a Paramedic Functional Assessor at Maximus, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life. This role involves working with complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions, as well as chronic pain disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
  • Produce detailed reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining a person's eligibility for benefits
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision

Requirements

  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of post-registration experience gained within or outside of an NHS ambulance trust
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using computer software to produce detailed reports
