Join Our Team as a Paramedic Functional Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions and determining their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments with individuals to understand the impact of their health conditions on their daily lives
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings to support decision-making by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality outcomes
Requirements:
  • NMC or HCPC registration is required
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience in the UK
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and have strong IT competency
