Job Title: Paramedic Disability Assessor

About the Role:

As a Paramedic Disability Assessor, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive assessments, gathering medical evidence and interpreting it to support the decision-making process for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Your excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments with individuals who have a range of physical and/or mental health conditions.
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the DWP decision-making process.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality assessments and reports.
Requirements:
  • NMC or HCPC registration is required.
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience in the UK is essential.
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and IT competency is a must-have.
