About the Role:

Aspect Healthcare is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Clinical Assessor. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with diverse physical and mental health conditions, with the goal of supporting their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough, holistic assessments of individuals with complex health conditions, gathering detailed information about their daily life challenges and how their disabilities impact their well-being.
  • Interpret medical evidence and compile comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
  • Work autonomously, using your clinical expertise to make informed decisions and provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • NMC or HCPC registration as a Paramedic.
  • At least 1 year of post-registration experience in the UK, with a strong understanding of the PIP benefit scheme.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
